I remember trying to use gravity method (open bleeders one wheel at a time and let fluid drip while watching fluid level in master) on my 69 C3 without much success. However C3s are known to be really tough to bleed, are C4s any easier? Has anyone tried the gravity method? I don't want to ask the ball and chain to pump the pedal since she has many bad memories of doing it in the C3.

Re: Gravity Method of Changing Brake Fluid. (skidmark)
Gravity bleed works fine if you have the time. Takes a few beers.
For quick and by yourself get ahold of a Miti-Vac, Phoenix injector or speed bleeders. All work fine.
Speed Bleeders replace the bleed valves and allow you to bleed yourself by not allowing air (or fluid) back in, you just pump the brake and fill the master.
Miti-Vac is a hand held suction device that you pump the fluid out. Just have to keep the master topped.
Phoenix injector will work like a Miti-Vac, but also will allow a reverse injection / pumping action to free up the little bubbles. Also great for bleeding clutch systems, but not cheap.
Regardless, I always use the factory bleed order and finish up with a final gravity bleed.
Check the bleed order in your factory manual, varies by year.
