'84 corvette goes dead when braking...
I am writing for my husband who posted here about a year ago when he had a problem and said you guys were great. Anyway, he works for an oil company and is gone for 3 weeks and they were moving the rig so all the guys canme in to move their cars to a new location. He said the car runs but when he brakes for a red light or anything it goes dead (it has a 4+3 transmission). He said the car does run but goes dead. He made it to where he needed to get to and called me. Someone told him it was probably the clutch but my dad said that didn't sound right. Any tips would be great! This is all he told me since we were not able to talk for very long. He is unsure whether he should try the 2 1/2 hour drive home next week or not.

So would any of you chance a 2.5 hour trip home with this problem? Also when he calls back..which will be in a few days I will get him to tell me more and I will post what he tells me. That is if the car did anything else. Thanks again and any other ideas would still be appreciated.
