Groan/Pop when turning

Groan/Pop when turning
94' with ~70k miles
I know this is probably beating a dead horse, but when I am accelerating through a 90 degree turn (usually right), I will occasionally get a groan and shudder, sometimes accompanied by a slight popping. Would this be wheel bearings or u-joints, or possibly both?
Also, at high speed (120-130
) I get a severe vibration that doesnt seem to be coming from any particular area of the car. Related?

It would more than likely be rear end grease. Drain, flush and refill with a good quality diff lube. Don't forget the two bottles of GM posi additive at the same time. It is possible for it to be the u joints or the wheel bearings, but those are easy for you to check and inspect. If they check out, change your diff lube.

BTW, that's rear end hypoid gear oil....it's thick, think its 80 weight, but not technically a grease
You might try jacking the rear off the ground, then grab each rear tire and see if there is any play or looseness in the bearings....if there is any they must be changed and that's your problem plain and simple
You might also want to get under there and check your half shaft U joints too
