Cam Selection 95 A4
What cam can i use on a 95A4 without putting in a stall converter ? Myplan is to do LT headers ,1.6 rr ,springs and a cam, no head work just those mods and a PCM tune of course . Will it give me 300 HP at the wheels? I have searched to no avail ?

With most cams above stock you will need a converter,I have the hot cam and have had a 2600 stall and it works great.
Are you against spending the money? or are you afraid of some drivability problems with the higher stall?
If you drove my car with a 3000 stall I doubt you could tell it was in there if you didn't know.
you will get some good increases with the long tubes and the rockers but I don't think 300 rwhp but maybe. good luck

You can get the 300rw with hotcam and those other mods on a dynojet, but it needs a higher stall converter as it comes off the factory line. Anything you do to it now will respond far far better to a higher stall TC.
