Air pump delete kits 88/91

Just saw these on TPIS website . Introductory price of $120. Looks pretty good. Thought I'd share.

What's the difference in the 85-87 AIR pumps that this kit won't allow it to work??

Sounds like a question for TPiS. My guess is the 113 heads have a different setup for mounting than earlier heads.

Guess the reason I asked was that the other makers of AIR pump eliminators don't specify different versions based on year.

Sent TPIS an email. I'll post their reply when I get one.

I have the tpis delete kit and I'm having to buy a new belt because there is not enough adjustment to get the factory belt tight.!

I've thought about deleting the A/C as well, but the one they have is for '88-'91 as well

I'm curious to know what they say.

i've heard the camaro one works for an AC delete on the earlier pancake compressors. summit has the F body delete wheel for $22.95. do a search here on the fourm for AC delete, read a few of the old threads. When gm switched to denso for AC later on the bracket changed and i still haven't found a cheap delete wheel. i was thinking about making one, looks pretty simple.

Another option...If you want to get rid of the A/C and air pump, save the money spent on the "eliminator" and buy a water pump for 77?-81 corvette and a march adjustable rod.
