Default Spark plug wire loom

Ok, still trying to find intermittant miss when hot. This started after doing a number of things in unrememberable order. Anyway, have new plug wires on and at night I can see them glow and actually spark against closeby metal. I am of course thinking this is a factor here. But, I threw away my old wires and now I remember several of them having loom on them I think.

What does everyones else's wires look like? Do they have loom on the wires in places? I have wire separators, but they are not stock. There are little brackets near the valve covers, but I don't know how these worked originally to hold the wires and I am not currently using them. It is impossible to route the wires where they do not touch anything.

Would appreciate some feedback on how everyone's wires are routed and loomed to prevent crossfire. I hope this is my problem. Hard, miss/stumble/bump the hotter the engine gets.

Thanks!
