Default tune up help

ok i will start with the problem the car is a 94 automatic car 96 thousand miles. the car when warm has a miss to it at high way speed and part throttle till it down shifts also it bucks and runs like crap when this happens. also the car is back firing through the intake from idle when you gas it. you can here the pops. this happens even if the car is in neutral.

what i have down so far is i have replaced the plugs with ngk's and i have replaced the plug wires. the car is not giving a check engine light and i have pulled the code through the ccm and the car is giving no codes. i was thinking of doing the opti, water pump and alt all at the same time. bu t now one of my friends said he went through all of this and it turned out to be injectors does this sound right?

also i am open for suggestions on things to check. if it turns out to be injectors how hard is it to install svo injectors say 24lbs

I don't know a thing about the Opti but it sounds like you have two plug wires switched. The firing order should be stamped on the intake. Check the firing order to be sure that the wires are correct. Sorry, this is old school Chevy logic before computers.

it may be i have a plug wire crossed that may be the problem off idle but how do you explain the miss when you put the engine under some load before it down shifts. i am guessing that the miss under load is either the optispark or bad injectors
