Default Taylor Spiro-Pro Plug Wires?

Just wondering if anyone was using this set of wires on their vette. I was thinking about getting them from Zip. They sound pretty good on paper, any testimonials??

I had them, they seemed to work fine for me, I prefer MSDs though. No real quantitative reasoning for that though.

I have them on mine and they seem to be a good wire at a good price. No problems.

If you are getting premade wires I would say you are fine with the taylors. If you are going to do a make your own set then go MSD. The taylors are very prone to cord breakage and corewire cracks when you are trying to do them yourself. That and there boots are a pain to get on.

Got Spiro Pros on a race car, 7 years old, 1/4 inch from the headers. They work great and still ohm out the same as new.
Got em on the C4, 3 years, still look new.
You'd have to do something bizzare to break a core.
The boots slip on just fine if they're properly lubed.
Been using these wires for many years both race and street and never had a failure.

I put on the Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm's at around 60K miles. They fit the original looms. It probably didn't matter what I put on, but the mileage went from a consistent 22 mpg to 25 to 28 mpg. I probably should have done it a few years ago.

I'm going to try them I guess. I won a $200 gift cert. from Zips so why not. Gotta spend the money somehow.

My car should be in the "fast lane" section in the next few months in Vette.

Nice win.

I have the Spiro Pros(Former Owner put on car) and I can certify that the car runs and doesn't have any issues. The fitment is fine, corvetteronw chose yellow and I wouldn't have, but they are well made.

had issues with leaking when i was running them. grime, oil and junk on an old motor in another car caused some serious blue lights. Never had the problem with MSD even though i'm sure all wires have their limits. If you need wires and have a cert to spend i say why not. Have you done the K&N fliter already? zip also is a great place to replace any switches or sensors that are acting weird.
