I got an extension six inch I think and a torx bit and just used a small breaker bar from behind
It works , you might have to turn the hub a little to get it to clear the yoke for the ujoint but with patience it is easy
While you are in there you shouyld go ahead and replace the spindle washer
I don't think I would use a impact gun, if you strip the torx bolt your screwed. Just add some heat around the bolt and it should come right out. Heat works wonders. And I would replace the washers like mentioned above, they will have to order them at the dealership and it takes a few days to get them in,cost about $7.00 apiece...WW
with all the above and to add... I usually give bolts that I think might be a problem, a spray of knock-r-loose, WD40 etc., or something, and rap them a few times with a ball-peen hammer to "break loose" the threads. I don't bash 'um, just a few raps to get their attention.

Is the spindle washer washer between the nut and the hub?
The washer fits over the spindle right behind the bearing. If you do a search for spindle washer, you should find a diagram in some of the threads. It's also illustrated in most of the repair manuals.
