Default WBO2 logging with LM-1

I've recently bought LM-1 with rpm converter but I can't get it to
work correctly.
Does any of you use LM-1??

Yes - I use the LM1 with the RPM converter. What type of problems are you having? Is it just the RPM information from the converter that you are having trouble logging, or are you not able to read A/F ratio information from the meter itself?

I can log AFR as long as rpm converter is not connected.
As soon as I try to log AFR with RPM I get terrible noise (spikes)
on both AFR and RPM readings.
It got a little better after adding potentiometer (like suggested
on LM-1 forum) but still not usable infos.

I'll try to post my logs later so you'll see what I'm talking about.

Where did you take your rpm signal from?

Did you properly configure the RPM cable as outlined in the manual?

If so, this could be a grounding issue. How do you have the LM1 meter wired? When I initially started using mine, I plugged the LM1 meter power cable into the cigarette lighter. Turns out the poor ground in the cigarette lighter was causing inaccurate data logs, weird readings, etc. After I hard wired it (and ran the ground directly to the frame), my problems were solved.

I am taking the rpm signal directly from the "tach" terminal in the HEI cap. My MSD 6A box feeds an Autometer tach.

I thought it was ground problem so I wired LM-1 directly to battery.
I have tried with rpm converter grounded, not grounded, it's
the same.

I have configured rpm converter with PC like stated in manual.

Do you use potentiometer on rpm signal?

I have also connected directly to tach terminal on cap.

I did not use the potentiometer.

Did you go to the Innovate Motorsports LM1 forum to see if you could find an answer there?

Yep, I tried that first.

How exactly did you wire your LM an rpm converter?
