Default LT1Intake.com dead?

Is the person behind lt1intake.com no longer modifying intakes? I've sent a bunch of emails with no response. Does anyone know of anyone else that offers those services?

LT1 intake did mine years back and I remember him saying hes too busy to be bothered with the mod. He charged me $70 to do it. This guy on ebay charges 250 but it looks like he does an absolutely pristine job.

Yeah he's doing the mod for LT-x guys who want to eliminate the Opti. From what I remember of the mod the only thing else needed are two holes drilled/tapped for the remote thermostat. The distributor hole is the harder one to get right.

If you do this on an LTX, you will need a stand alone ECU.

Has anyone seen a person use the water pump off of an LT-1 for this swap? I was thinking getting one and converting it to electric but I'm not positive it will bolt up and clear the timing chain cover.

Hey turbo i would be leary, thats alread 350 and you havent bought any of the other pieces yet. Plus the remot t-stat housing, if you have an lt1 intake i would off load it and be done with it and just buy a different intake. I would do the swap for you but i'm really busy now a days.

Yeah, but what choice do I have? mini ram is around a grand and the stock intake manifold is too knotted up, not accessible enough. what else is there to buy, remote t-stat, some hoses and some fuel line? Should be around $600 when all said and done. Is there a better option? Carb?
