Default A/C Compressor & Lighting

Does anybody have any insight on why my interior/exterior lights dim noticeably when the compressor cycles in?

The alternator shows around 14.5-15.5 volts and the Interstate battery is about a year old.

Any thoughts on cures would be welcome.

If it does it at idle, and idle is good, there's not much you can do. If it dims while youre running down the road, it's probably getting to be alternator time.
