Tune or no tune
have 4.11's and need the spedo adjusted. and I want my fans turned on lower. Should I get a tune from a VERY known place around me? 300 bucks and I gues it will run better.

Or just by a used Hypertech and it will turn on fans and you can change speedo due to 3.73's or 4.10's. Doubt you will be faster if you select to install tune with it but it will cost less than half. Just another idea. I bought one of these for my Trans Am for this reason alone. Figure once I go into the motor I will get a real tune and resale the Hypertech and recoup some money.

I got a Hypertech chip that I will sell for $50.00. It's for my 88. I don't know if it will fit your car. I think you may have a prom. It came with the car. It turns the fan on at 175. I needed a new tune when I installed my superam and 24 lb. injectors. I got a mail order tune from Fastchip. I think they are more expensive than pcmforless. It ran fine. I'm changing injectors again and I now have 1.6 RRs. I'm getting a Dyno tune. A dyno tune can be expensive. That's why I'm waiting for it to be finished before I do the dyno thing.
