sorry about that I took the ohm meter and checked all of the fuses first hoping it was a simple fix like the other one but I had no such luck.
I think it is the switch though because sometimes it works and if i hit a bump the dash will go black and another bump and they work again? It is really strange.

Did you ever solve your problem?I've got the same issue: No dash lights at night unless I apply pressure to the dimmer switch. Am wondering whether I have to replace the whole headlamp switch assembly or can just order a new dimmer switch. Quite a difference in $$$.
