Default raidator tank

Has anyone ever had to replace the coolant tank on a c-4 vette?? Mine is leaking where the filler neck goes into the tank. After i replace it will I need to blead the air out of the system?I know there is a valve or plug by the water pump to blead out the air,but when do you need to blead out the air and how do you know you need to.Thanks for any help

Are you referring to the expansion tank? The one down in the passenger side wheel well.If you are, when you change it, there should be no need to BLEED anything.
