What injection system are you using ? Do you know if the ZZ383 is compatible with the Super Ram intake ?

You can use any SBC Gen 1 intake you want, but HP, torque, and the rpm range will vary.

What balancer and timing cover are you using? I used the factory L98's and am having isues. The Motor looks great.

I used the balancer that came on the ZZ383 motor along with the timing cover. I had to grind the top bolt of the timing cover pretty far. Also a small bit of grinding on the edelbrock aluminum water pump that I was told would fit without any issues (by Edelbrock tech line)

Motor went in last night. I hope to have it running and on the street by next weekend. By the way this is the First Fuel Injection Unit,More pictures as we progess.
