The oddest thing has happened with my driver's-side wiper. When in the "at rest" position, the tip now sits below the small wiper cradle, rather than in it. It all but destroyed the last two inches of the wiper blade before I managed to figure out the problem. I've checked and the wiper arm doesn't appear to be bent at all. The point where the wiper arms attach to the wiper motor doesn't allow you to remove the arm and reposition it slightly, like the other "geared" designs I've seen. The motor itself is mounted absolutely tight, and doesn't exhibit any movement. I've also purchased a pair of factory replacement blades, but they don't solve the problem either.
For the life of me, I can't figure out how my wiper got misalligned!
Does one of you kind souls happen to have a close-up photo of the driver's side wiper blade that I can reference? Hopefully I'll be able to spot the difference in allignment and determine how to get my mine back in working order. Thanks!!!
