Default Injectors for 410 CHP

What size do I need for an LT4 with 410 CHP?

P.S. Who made stock Lt4 injectors?

The stock 28# injectors should work just fine.

I have ran 28# LT4 injectors on a 360RWHP LT1 (Head and Cam Package) with only a 80%Duty Cycle so there is plenty of room with the stock 28# injectors for well over 400CHP

410 CHP is what, about 350 to the wheels. My car is running 375 rwhp with the stock 24# LT1 injectors.

Is this via dyno run?

What is the duty cycle at WOT?

What fuel press are you using?

Yes, this is through a dyno run. At 375 rwhp my duty cycles are pretty high, at 355 rwhp they were ~85%. With my new combination I could probably use a larger injector. At 355 rwhp they were just right.

Currently my fuel pressure is turned all the way up. At 355 rwhp it was ~45 psi.

Is there a formula to figure this all out?

I am sure there is and I hope someone will chime in with it. This beats talking about Optis, Fans, and Thermostats.

I simply don't know enough about FI, and I'm trying to learn.

The most I know is about bank fired, and sequential fired. That's as far as it goes.

Can you get me another bargain on 30#ers?

I didn't even put 250miles on the ones I purchased from you in July. It was September when I started taking the car apart, so it's been laid up more than running for that time...

Yes.

If I can find it. I'll post the link.

And yes.....the 28LB LT4 injectors should easily feed a 410 CHP set-up.

Yeah I know, I talked to him. It does not compute to me that a 300 CHP with 24# injectors engine could produce 400 CHP without an injector change.

Wish I could, I only had 2 sets of those. I would seriously consider upgrading though. I had no idea what you were building when you bought those. You probably didn't either for sure. They should be easy to sell.

Do you have 24# or 28# now?

The reason is your engine becomes more efficient with better cam, heads, headers etc... Just a point of reference Jesse and Cork ran there cars into the 10's with 24# injectors and never had a problem. Now I wouldn't recommend going that far but as long as your car is tuned properly and your injector Duty Cycle stays under 90% you are fine.

I didn't know I was going to do this at the time. It all came fast.

Those are great injectors.. New they're $700 a set.

Well, if anyone wants to make an offer let me know. They have about 250 miles on them.
