Default Hello,, new to the forums

Hello

well im new to the forums,, semi new to corvettes,, my dad has always owned one and soon it will be mine.. Its a 93 with the lt1,,

well the car runs terrible right now,,,so when i get it the whole car is going to be worked including body, paint, brakes, and of course the motor..

what i plan on doing is getting a 383 stroker kit,,, no biggey,, there cheap and easy to find so i have no problems with that.. then along with the stroker there has to be the cam, heads, intake mainfold, throttle body, and intake,, along with an exhasut and ill be going long tube headers..

Itll be a street corvette,, but not a daily driver

As far as i know,, so please correct me if i am wrong,, there is only one intake mainfold and thats EDELBROCK's,, theres a few heads places for after market ones,, people seem to be fond of AFR's,, exhasut can be bought almost anywhere so im good there,, throttle bodies are every where too, the only thing i need help with is the intake itself,, who has them,, been through a couple forums havent really found a place for them..

well here are some my questions,,, If i do wat i have listed above, wat mm TB? Should i buy after market heads or should i just port the stock ones? With the stroker kit, is it necesary to have the forged crank or will the cast hold up just fine,, I wont be adding any forced induction or nitrous,, just motor. And wat ever else u guys recomend,, That and im not reall worried about a budget cause this will be a kinda long project,, ill be doing all the work along with some specialists.

thanks to who ever helps..

Welcome to Corvette ownership. Prepare for a very rewarding experience with a car that can be very awesome when it's working right. One thing you'll find is that nearly everything with these cars has been tried by at least one member of these forums; use the search feature a lot and read random threads every day and you'll learn quite a bit about the popular engine mods. The LT1 is very receptive to AFR heads with upgraded valvetrain parts and an LT4 hot cam, and not so much receptive to throttle body and exhaust modifications. Your posts are somewhat difficult to read (although not nearly as bad as some posts seen around here); usage of good punctuation and grammatical practices will make your words easier on the eyes, and more people will be willing to read and respond.
