Default 1984 C4 Exhaust Replacement

I could use a little input from anyone that has replaced their 1984 exhaust. Nothing available from Chevy. Mine is full of holes and I need a good sounding aftermarket system that won't reveberate excessive noise into the cabin. Has anyone tried the insulation wraps to cut down on cabin heat and noise? Any other sugestions?
Thanks for the help.

If yours is full of holes it's gonna be noisy. The front Y-pipe is probably fine. My 85 rusted out the rear y-pipe. I replaced it with an Allens cat-back which was a stock-style replacement for $250. Worked fine, a little quite. If you want a real nice sounding setup go with the Magnaflow catback, or replace your Y-pipe and get muffler eliminators for a more aggressive tone.
