Slight delay when turning key to when starter engages. 96
Just wondering if anyone elses car does this. I turn the ignition key to start the car and there is an ever so slight delay (most people wouldn't even notice) right before the starter goes. I replaced the battery and cable bolts and cleaned them real well.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be or is it Normal?
Its a 96 lt1 a4 if it matters
thanks in advance.

I've never noticed any delay like this on mine. Sometimes it just goes "click" though  which hopefully a new starter:smash: will take care of. Good luck with it.
