Default o2 sensor failed after only 10K miles

Hey guys, Just replaced my drivers side o2 about 10K miles ago on my 95. It has a burnt orange color.

I would have to guess that it is running rich. I rest the LT BLM count and haven't driven it much, but the ST counts are around 125 at idle. I do detect a smell of fuel under the hood after I run her.

I'm not burning any oil or needing to add water. Does this sound like I might have a leaking injector?

I can't really see detail on the end of the O2 on this computer, so it's hard to read it. It wouldn't hurt to test for a leaky injector and pull the driver side plugs. How did you find out the O2 was bad?

The SES light came on so I hooked up a scanner.

There was a LOT of soot on the tip, so I tried to clean it up, but I took off some of the orange color under it.

I drove it today and it ran quite well with the new sensor. I will pull the plug and check it out. Is there an on vehical test for a leaky injector or do I need to pull it?
