One of "Our Own" has put up a page with just about everything you could want, RPO-wise...

...And here's a site with way more than I ever wanted to know about RPO codes...

According to the factory 1984-90 Chevrolet Parts Manual dated April 1990 these RPO's are:

PX2 - Wheel, Rear (aluminum)
E5Z - Adapter, Speedo Delete
63U - Exterior Color-
65I - Interior Color, Antelope
652 - Trim Combination, Leather, Medium Antelope

Nothing is listed for a "W82", but usually (but not always) a RPO in the W## series is a special marketing or appearance package. The E## series is usually something to do with the body such as a special door, an extra convertible release handle, etc.

Wildride -

Whereabouts in the manual did you find these codes??? I'd like to look up my codes, too! (I have old manual dated 9-90).

I have to go along with Wildride on these. I have a "1984-'89 Parts and Illustration Catalog", effictive April '89. My book doesn't list any, UG's. There IS a U64 for "Speaker system, 4, dual front dash mounted, dual standard range package shelf/quarter". My best guess on the "W82" is the Motor Trend Car of the Year, sticker. Good luck.

Rich B. - In my copy, the GM Production Options start on Page 27 of the catalog.

Some info regarding the Uxx series of options - these seem to be instrument cluster and/or warning device options. For example there is a UD4-Alarm, Vehicle Speed (120KPH) (Export) and a UB4-Lamp, Side Marker. Nothing is listed for a UG4 though.

I have noticed that sometimes the Service Parts Identification placard is sometimes illegible or "subject to interpretation". For example the "651" code is most likely "65I". A little detective work comparing codes with what is installed will often give the right answer.

I don't have a match, but other 6L#'s are related to rear view mirrors.

63U PRIMARY COLOR, EXTERIOR, MED TAUPE MET (92)

Edit: I agre with an above post that UG4 is probably U64 (since you have the UU8 Bose system)

U64 SPEAKER SYSTEM, 4, DUAL FRT DASH MTD, DUAL STD RGE

And 651 is probably 65I because you have 652

65I INTERIOR TRIM, MED ANTELOPE (91)
