Default courtesy timer trouble

My corvette's lights were staying on so I removed the fuses for the interior lights. When i did that they stayed off but now i am getting a sys error flashing on the guage cluster. Now i need to know how to bypass the timer so that i can put the fuses back in. I searched but only saw the method for bypassing the c3 models but have been unsuccessful finding the method for bypassing the c4. Car is a 93 auto if it matters.

Thanks
Robert

Ps. I did check the switches also to rule them out.

Why don't you just replace the Courtesy Light Delay Module and be done with it?

On your 93, the courtesy light delay timer is built into the CCM.

The interior courtesy lights can stay on due to the following.

Defective /misadjusted RH or LH door ajar switches located on the back of each door.

The Headlight switch when rotated to the courtesy position.

A defective LH or RH door key switch, or you need to insert the door key and rock it back and forth to make sure the key switch is in the vertical position.

A defective CCM

Bad courtesy lamp relay

To test the door ajar switches.
Turn ignition key to ON.
Open the drivers door, the door ajar light on the dash should come on.
Close the drivers door, the door ajar light should go out.
The passenger side door switch should behave the same.

Make sure the headlight switch is not in the courtesy lamp position.

To test the door key switches, manually set the alarm.

Roll down the windows.
Open driverside door.
The security light will be blinkiing.
Use the power door lock switch and lock the doors.
The security light will be On solid (not blinking).
Close the door.
Reach in and unlock the door by using the power door lock switch.
Open the door.
The horns will pulse.
Insert the door key and rotate to the unlock position. The system should disarm. (horn stop blowing).

Set the alarm again but disarm the system using the passengerside door key cylinder.
