Default '92 LT-1 Flywheel Question - HELP

I am reinstalling the engine and was bolting the flywheel back on and noticed movement. Movement from the machined surface and the flywheel with the teeth. I look in the Service Manual and it says slight movement is acceptable.

What do they mean by slight? I have aprox 1.5" of movement. Is this slight? If anyone has any thoughts it would certainly help out.

The cluch already has hot spots which give it "One Strike" for rplacing it, but I need to know if this is "Strike Two"

Thanks

So on a dual-mass flywheel there is some movement and an inch and a half rotation maybe 5 degrees or so is acceptable?

Look in your FSM and it will tell you how much is acceptable. It's in there. I found it when I did my clutch about 4-5 years ago.

You were correct. It was on the page I didn't read. It's just before Inspection under Back Lash. Thanks for the help. This one's good. $$ saved.

Just make sure there was no fluid leaking from the plates. And don't have the clutch surface of the flywheel ground.
