Default LSx conversion for LTx based C4s

I just got through watching one of the HP shows where they did an LSX 427 build using a single plain intake and carburator and made 660FWHP NA on pump gas...and, I thoguht the cam spec were mild and they said they used nearly stock LS7 heads (flowing around 300cfm)! OK, I can only be sooo loyal to the LT1 in my car. I was reading on an Austrialian website where they are stroking these blocks north of 570 cid and have ported heads flowing around 400cfm. Soooo, I have to know, has anyone done an LSx conversion in a C4? If so, how major of an ***-pain was it?

If you search the tech forum, there are several LSx swap threads but I don't think any of them deal with the LT1 cars.

This is a very involved swap and in my opinion over the heads of most do it yourself backyard guys at this point. If you search you will find it has been done and done very well to where it looks factory. I am not proposing this is over your head, I have no idea what your mechanical abilitys are. When you search do an advance search and check in the archives as well. I hope that helps you some, good luck.
