...having fitted a standard fr. spring?
The car was fitted with another spring without end pads and center pad mod's and sat way too low.
Now that the original ride height is retained, will it need an alignment?
TIA
if you have the FSM, find the section on factory ride heights for the front end - it may be called trim ride heights. drive around a few miles and let it settle out - do a good visual - if it looks like it needs it make the appointment.
you will need to exercise the front suspension up and down a bunch of time also.
I would align it to make sure. As twisted said, be sure to drive it enough to fully seat the suspension. If you altered the ride height in any way, you will need an alignment.
camber goes out and toe comes in when you raise the car. how low it was before and how high it is now also effects this. if you raised the car something like 1/2" you're fine if it was more like 2" you probably should hit the shop. do take the advise and drive a tank of gas to settle everything first though. also decide on how you want it setup, stock specs are okay for tire wear but you can add performance with a few minor tweaks and not kill your tires much faster. a slight toe out in front does wonders for the steering responce.
