Default Spark plug gap and heat range????

Hey guys this is my first post. So take it easy on my spelling.

My question is I keep fouling plugs and developing misfires... I bought a procharger D-1 used. The guy I bought it from told me to get the coldest firing plug available and gap it at .055. I've replaced cap, roter, wires, coil. It runs good for a few days the bam small back fires.

So back to the question what plug and gap do you guys use?

Thanks in advanced.

In case you're wondering about the user name its an archery thing!

Are you using the stock ignition? If so that's way too wide of a gap. I think most people with stock run at like .032 or so.

Also I would go 2 heat ranges colder than stock and go from there.

Good luck!
