Do a search; there have been a few people to take on the project. It's a ton of work, I'll tell you that right now. I think a couple of the threads are linked in the Technical FAQ. Don't know if anyone's done a 565, but they're all the same dimensions on the outside.

I replied to your IM. In summary it says - work, work and more work; then when you think your done, its more work. Double what you think your going to spend and you might be somewhat close, but likely still not enough. lol. That is just how things go with these things.

You will pretty much just have a shell of the car left. You will need to replace everything from fuel system to hood on the car. plus you will need a good cage to stiffen everything up in the car to take the power.

We have a 555 I have thought about putting in my car, but its even a lot of work for what I am used to do in an already pretty modded up car. Its a lot of work, time, and $.

Put a great SB in it, and add some juice if your still not going quick enough. No reason you can't go mid to bottom 9s with a good 434 sbc in one of these car with a lot less work and $ - don't get me wrong though its still going to be 20+ grand to do it right. But the other your looking at easily 35+

Again if you need anything let me know and I will try to help.
