Hey Everyone..Quick Question...
I hope everybody is OK here in C4 land...I am now looking at a 1971 Nova dedicated drag race car...it has this motor currently in it since the owner blew up his big block...can anyone tell me what year vette this came out of?...he guesses 96 but I'm not sure about that...thanks form the help...

As far as Corvettes go, it has to be 1991 or older. 1992 started the LT1 usage, Gen II, with their reverse cooling and opti spark. If the heads go with the rest of the engine, being aluminum and w/ center bolt valve covers, makes them 1986L through 1991.

Thanks guys...it looked like an L98 to me but I wasn't sure...no big deal since it runs 12.2 on pump gas ...quick enough for me till I can afford to go quicker...thanks again...
