Default oil temp guage
I have a 94 LT1 the digital oil temp guage will jump all over the place and occasionally peg at 325 triggering the check guages light. Then it will return to the proper number, the analog gauge works fine and doestn't move erratically. Is this just the sending unit or something else? I did pull codes and found none at all. Thanks

Check your wiring then the sensor. Chances are the wiring is melted or something

It will be something simple so don't let it freak you out, oil temp doesn't change that fast
