Will not start, HELP Please
1988 L98 started to miss acting as if it was running out of gas. Changed fuel pump still will not start. If I prime the car it will fire. Any one have an idea what the fix is?

You need a fuel pressure guage, about $40. then hook it to the schrader valve on the fuel rail passenger side, looks kinda like a tire valve. In your car above your right knee is the ALDL, the bottom pin (only pin on the bottom) left side is terminal G, run a wire from the positive terminal to that pin. It will provide 12 volts to the fuel pump. If it runs and the car starts then you have a problem in the fuel pump circuit.
