Default Fuel Pump

Hey there! This is my first post, so lets see how this goes! I was wondering if anyone knows what my problem could be...I have a '91 I know its with the fuel pump, but I'm not sure which wire is +/-. The fuel pump isn't getting power, but both fuses are good, but there is no power to them. I need to know the location of the fuel pump relay, if its by itself, or if its the one where 3 are together (sitting in the drivers seat, is it to my right or left?) The last thing is the color wire to the pump (which is the sending unit, and which is the power to the pump?) - the 2 colors are gray and purple(ish). I really hope someone can help me! Thank you in advance!

On my '88:
-FP relay is located on the firewall to the RH side of the brake booster
-the PPL wire goes to the fuel level sensor
-the Tan/Wht wire provides power from the FP Fuse to the FP

I'll suggest to you that it would be a good idea to purchase a FSM (Factory Service Manual) for your car. They are worth there weight in gold. Even if you are going to have someone else do the work, it is always a good idea to know what is going on w/ your car, and it is a good resource if your mechanic gets stumped on a problem.
