VetteBrakes sells a C4-C5 brake upgrade kit; maybe you could contact them to see if they would sell the adapters only.

I let wdo-mkr know folks are looking for him.

I know him personally and can vouch for him being a stand up guy. I am sure he'll be able to get you your parts soon. He might be out of town at a show. Or maybe he's getting his monster out of storage.

I checked the site. $190 for 1985-1987, $180 for 1988-1996.

I'll call wdo-mkr tomorrow to let him know you're looking for him. I have his cell phone but it's too late tonight. I'd buy them from him.

I left a message on his voice mail today. I'll try again tomorrow if we haven't heard from him. I hope he's okay.

He does all kinds of C4/C5 vette and F bod upgrade kits, adapters, Brackets, etc.

He's better known on the F Body boards

I'm looking for a set too. Already have everything else I need. Was contacted by Jeff about a month ago, said they were at his platers, but haven't heard anything else since then.

Uhh, both sites remind us that we will need the special non-GM conversion bracket to mount the caliper mounting bracket but neither site has a Pt #, price availablity etc for the part.

I just got off the phone w Ed.
He is the only name in F Body to Vette caliper conversions.
He is THE GUY on all of the F Body sites.
He already has the patterns for F body to C4 hubs/caliper conversions etc --> C5 and C6 calipers
I bought my first conversion from him in 2002, (I think?) to convert my 3rd Gen racecar to C5 calipers, (The racecar before Big Red)
Anyway, If you search for him online, you'll never find a bad word about him.
He Delivers!!!
Ya'll can call him for your C4->C5 or C6 caliper conversions, hardware etc

803.396.5693

He's super easy to work w and will sell just the brackets, or soup to nuts hardware, conversion brackets, mounting brackets, calipers, SS Brake lines, etc. And His prices are really good.
He does not Gouge w Vet tax.
The F Body guys have been nickle and diming him for years so you know his prices are very reasonable.

I was just looking over some pricing on some supplier websites (listed on this thread) and Ed's parts and packages run about half the price.

I'm a fan.

I think the only significant price increase for the C4->C6 upgrade over the C5 conversion is the cost for the C6 6 piston calipers itself which is in the $240 per side range, (to my knowledge, I'm not setting anyone's prices and have no specific knowledge,) instead of the $100ish per side price for the C5 Z06 caliper.

Thank you for the call Evan, and I'm glad to offer my assistance where it's needed. Although I've been a member here for quite some time I do not currently own a Corvette although I'm close to upgrading to a C5.

That said, I will need to aquire two C4 spindles, one early ('85-87) and one late ('88-96) to get the patterns made and tested and I have all brake parts on hand from C5 to C6 ZO6. I will be looking in various places to get the spindles but if anyone has a spare spindle available for me to use during my R&D it would be greatly appreciated and their brackets provided to them at a drastic discount. I only need one spindle of each design so pairs are not needed, and the hub installed would be a plus. Shipping would be taken care of my me.

Thank you all and I'm looking forward to another project.

I have the early bracket pattern finished and am 75% done with the late bracket pattern. I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks!
