dont they make an H-pipe for these cars?
it would still be a dual, eliminates the resonator but adds a balance tube like an X pipe but dont allow the exhaust to "channel" between. just allows flowing pressure to equalize.
my mustang had an H pipe factory and I replaced it with another one when I went long tubes. and we all know how nasty a fox chassis mustang can sound without any real bite.

Your resonator is of a straight thru design so you should be able to see through it.An x-pipe will change the exhaust note to a higher pitch(think formula one),not make it deeper.
