Which gears do I have?
I have a 1992 Auto. When going 70mph (it seems as if most people state this speed) I am at about 2100-2200 rpms. Any idea what gears these would be? Also, Where do I find the code to see what gears were initialy installed? Thanks!

Your RPO codes are on the underside of Centre Console which should have a sticker listing all the codes.

If i knew what ratios were available in 92's id tell you but i think my rpms are in the same range with my 3.07's. Look under your glove box and there should be a sticker with your RPO's, or if you have a coupe (i didnt look at your pic) its under a storage compartment lid

what gear are you D or OD ?
if you were in D then it loks like you have a 2.59. I know these cars also came with 3.07s. Check inside the center console, it shows the orginal equipment, that the car came with.

Wow!! G44- 3.07 gears!! And I thought this whole time I had 2.59s!! Nice to find out some good news!! :) :) :) (now I just have to start lookin at a 2600 TC) ;)
