At one point, I saw a cup shaped stone on a drill bit shank.
You would chuck it up into your drill and "polish" the glass.
There was some kind of media that needed to be applied to the glass beforehand.
Not sure if it was a paste, or what.
I recommend having someone who has experience polish it. I have seen guys completely ruin glass by trying to polish it. Glass is actually a liquid, not a solid.

Hi all ..... I have scratches that are going up and down on my door windows.I ordered those pads that go inside the door panels. Now looking for a place that will clean up the windows.
Glass is a liquid, just not at normal temps. It has a relatively low melting point compared to something like metal. The only problems i've ever had with my windows is rock chips
Bon Ami and 00 steel wool have worked well for me and some friends.
..scared to death of the "steel" wool.....probably since it has the
the word "steel" in it and steel and glass don't do well together when they come in abrasive or impact contact with each other.....
