I bought the Harlan Shift Light, it is small and and I use Velcro to attach it to the bottom of my dash.
Pros: small, low cost and simple.
Cons, you have to change the SHIFT rpm using the combinations of numbers on the PC board

Thanks! The clip shows night driving... is it bright enough to see if mounted to the bottom of the dash for day light hours?
Anyone else with a neat mounting idea? Someone around here once mounted one in the center AC vent!

I mounted mine in the vent right of the steering wheel, hides really well. At night if it seemed too bright, just close off the vent. The part of the vent you cut in thru is really just a dead part anyway.

At the tail end of the video, you can see my Harland shift light pop on. This is at a driving school and I was taking a friend for a ride...
