P0300 misfire
Just pulled the Vette (LT4 engine stock) out Sunday, it's been sitting for the winter. Put the car away with 3/4 tank of fuel and Stabil. Car Started right up (I use a battery tender in the winter) but was running rough!
Service Engine light flashing while driving and then went steady!
Ran the car on the Highway for about 10 minutes and the engine smoothed out to a normal idle.
When I got home I scanned the computer and it was a P0300, no other codes. So I reset it and the car ran fine after driving another 1.5 hours.
I put some Seafoam in the tank (probably out of paranoya) just to make sure the gas didn't go stale. The car was sitting for about 4-5 months in my garage. Changed the oil and filter. Checked wires visually and they looked ok. Plugs are NGK Iridium about 3-yrs old.
Is it the new formulated gas that caused this code? As the car is runnong great now.
