I will be looking around for the next month or so to find my perfect C4 (92-94). I know MOST are going to be auto, what are the performance differences between manual and auto tranny in the 92-94?

Re: c4 auto manual (azc4)
Slightly higher top end with the stick and since it has a higher rear end gear and less HP loss through the drivetrain, it should be quicker in the 1/4 mile too... they aren't the easiest cars to launch thou. If you get an auto, look for the G44 and the G92 RPO codes..that gives you the 3.07 rear compared to the 2.59's.

The RPO codes will be the lid in the storage compartment between the seats.

It will either be in the glove box or on the side of the rear storage compartment.. yellow and white sticker around 3 x 4 inches.
Good luck finding a car!

Yes, definitely be sure if you get an auto that it has G92 and 3.07 gears.
