you can get programming software yourself for the 93, i dont know much about the Power Programmer but its better than their chip for my car.

Actually on a 93 it still has a removable prom that you can program. But you will need a "pocket programmer" to actually burn the chip and the software such as tunercat to change the program. Why not take your question to the prom section now that we've got one! Everyone'll be happy to expound on the subject there for all to check out! :)
