I think I have put up a question about every part of the process so far What is the trick to get these off without breaking one as I have already broke one of the clips and I am not in the mood to break any more. I have the fuel rail separated so now the clips are the last thing in my way before I finish the long put off project.
I just put the little tab on the edge of my workbench and 'roll' the injector out of it. You will break some if they are old and/or rusty (and they are ALL old, now).

What I did on mine was you'll see a little tab on the left side front when they are locked in. Slide the tab to the right. If you can feel behind them or have the fuel rail off there will be a large tab on the back and now it will be on the left side. This means they are unlocked and you can pull them from the rail.
There seems to be some discussion on the forum about whether to use them again or not. I am no expert so I’ll leave that decision to you and the pros. I replaced mine from Summit Racing. They come in packs of 8 for under $12.00 a pack.

Only thing they are good for is pulling the rail with injectors to see when pressurized if one is leaking, other wise you don't need them.

I grip the edge of the clip with plyers while rotating the injector away from it; once it's installed on a new injector I pinch the clip with plyers to "install" it.
