Ok, the engine is completely apart... it wasn't a spun rod bearing (though about 3-4 of them were very close to spinning. The knocking was probably because the bearing was lose and about to spin. Also, the pistons had play in them, which might have been causing the knock. The bottom end of the engine didn't look too dirty.. looked completely normal. The crank is perfect (i guess I can resell it for $75-100) and so is the cam. If you know someone needing these parts for a rebuild, let me know. The pistons look alright too, though obviously they need new rings.
The block and heads will be taken to Boyd Machine here in Norman on monday, and be done probably by wed. Vatting everything and magnufluxing as well.
Here are the pics: (sorry about how many there are.. i love pictures and I like to see them when other people work on their car.. hopefully this will help out some of you newbies that haven't done anything like this before like me :) )
Re: [update 2] Engine rebuild [lots of pics!] (Glock'94)
 I spun bearing number 1, which in turn lead to 0-oil pressure, spinning 7 and 8, and all of the others were about to go. I'm pretty sure I heard the 7 and 8 bearings spin, its a really metallica grinding then just more knocking. Not a sound I want to hear again any-time soon. My crank was fried, over 0.032 ground down, it was so bad, the journal next to it looked like it still had a bearing on it.
My engine was nearly spotless, I was pretty happy about that.
Tear-down is the worst, its so dirty and smelly and depressing. Build-up is actually pretty fun. If you've got time, you should watch the engine guy do parts of the build.
Anyways, good to see the main journals are in good shape and the rebuild is started. :) Have fun. :)

Also, what was your oil-pressure at the end? My fuel pressure sender died and lied to me. It said I was always making between 24 and 60 psi, there is no way in h*ll that I was.
I've since gone to a mechanical guage, I feel a lot better about it.

Oil pressure was only at 12psi or so at hot idle.. (which explains the gaps and loseness of the bearings that were worn and ready to go). Is there any way to test the oil pressure sensor? Since I'm ordering 2 knock sensors, 2 O2 sensors, and one oil level sensor, I might as well find out if I need a new oil pressure sensor too!
