Default Need Screws

I need some help. I am short two screws that I can't find anywhere I wanted to see if you guys can help me.

And no, they aren't in the motor.

I need one of the screws that holds the plate on the ECU where the chip goes. It's a small machine thread screw.

The second one is either the screw, or the dimensions for the AC canister that mounts to the frame rail.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

I'll bet both of them are metric. My local ACE hardware has a huge selection of metric screws and bolts. I've always been able to find the ones I need there.

If I don't know the size, which is usually the case, I just use the trial and error method. The one for your ECM should be easy since you probably have the other screw to use for a match-up.

Another option, if no one posts the exact sizes for you, your Chevy dealer may be able to help.

Try a GM dealer, junk yeard, local hardware stores etc.. If that doesn't work try these guys. http://www.fastenal.com/ I had problems finding a hex head screw for my firbird door handle. I had a buddy that worked for them and he was able to get me one. They have measurements for everything on their website.

If they are going into metal, maybe you can get a screw close to the size and drill and tap it. Might be a last resort solution.
