Default 1991 - HELP! PLEASE!!! i need my car back!

Does anyone have the factory manual for a 91? have mine on order, but hopin that i can fix my problem before it gets here - i was wondering if you could look up the following: There is no power at the fuse for the ECM. Is there a fusible link between fuse and battery?

sorry, i just re-read that and its actually a mistake. to clarify: there IS power at the 3amp fuse in the fuse box, however, there is NO power at the C1/D17 connectors in the ECM. Sorry for the mistake.

The 12 volt source for both of those pins comes from a fusible link right at the positive battery cable terminal where the cable bolts to the battery. (Hot at all times)

At the positive battery cable terminal it splits into 3 cables.

One Red cable (could be orange colored) goes to the battery jumper block which is located under the battery. A stud with a bunch of orange wires / fusible links held together with a single nut.

One Black cable goes to the starter.

One Red (could be orange colored) cable is a fusible link that provide the 12 volts that you say is missing at the ECM.

Ok! Yes, it was the red(orange) fusible link! now the question is: can i use a regular fuse instead of the inline and is it a 20amp??

Fix it correctly, NAPA should carry the fuse link, you will need the size of the original.
