Thanks for all the information
I would like to thank all who have posted on how to find and repair FX3 problems. I have been dreading the thought of replacing my FX3 shocks with KYB units as I have a wife, kid, dog, house.....no money. I'm sure some one here can understand. So, to the FX3 problem, during my monthly garbage removal of my "wifes" Expedition, I was also washing "my" car. I have read here most all of fx3 post and had resigned myself to just replacing the shocks but before donating blood or trading in a kidney, I thought I should at least check it out first. What I found was a clip from the right front actuator is missing and was not seated on the piston gear. I simplly set the actuator on the gear and started the car, no more SRC light. Now I need to locate a set of clips. I would have spent hundreds of dollars at repair shops or dealers with service personell hardly old enough to remeber 1990 and driving Honda Civics with noisy mufflers. I wanted to say thank you for all the help!
