I'm not sure anyone makes true GS replicas anymore. Most of the knock-offs now have the "shallow" are around the lugs as opposed to the true GS rims and older kock-offs that have the deeper center area.
OEM Grand Sport wheels were made by A-Mold and were sold either by being on the GS or at a GM dealer. The real GS wheels did wind up being available thru Mid-America and Eckler's but they are long gone.
AFS Wheels makes a good reproduction GS wheel although the machined lip on their wheel is different in width than the original wheel.
Unfortunately, most all of these style wheels are made in China. I just bought a set of AFS GS wheels for my 87 and the boxes say "Made in China" on the label. The wheels themselves do not have anything that shows what country they came from.
I bought a set of AFS wheels back in 97 and those wheels did have "Made in USA" cast into the spokes. But many OEM wheels are made off-shore. Even some early C4 factory wheels were from Japan (Enkie) or Mexico (Kelsey-Hayes or Western).
Is GM out of them? If not, might try Chris May at Superior Chevrolet in Kansas City...he gives Corvette Forum discounts....
They are expensive, but for a reason...super durable and light (17 pounds).
At one point I had the AFS models...they are ~5 pounds heavier a wheel than OEM's. OEM's are more durable of course as well although few stress wheels to breaking points (hard on the car!)
