HI guys. I just bought a walbro 392 fuel pump. I am concerned about getting maximum flow out of this thing. I will be using a voltage booster so it will be flowing a bunch more than normal. I know that the fittings aren't a problem on a normal application, but I'm really pushing things on my fuel system.
With the kit were two 3/8" barb fittings to connect to my hoses. The barb fittings have a pretty small diameter pathway for the fuel to travel through. Can I drill the openings bigger? Is there any special coating on the fittings that I might remove if I drill them?It looks like I can open up the fitting at least 1/8" if not more.
Anyone see any threads on this before or know much about fittings?
