Default Preheat engine before starting? Anyone?

It seems cold (whatever temp that may be) does the most damage to engine, environment etc etc.
So, does anyone here pre heat their engine oil etc. If so, how do you do it?

In extremely cold climates there are dipsticks that are basically heating elements to heat the oil prior to start up. With the advent of synthetic oils there is less of a need for this type of extreme assistance.

Default That's what I like 'bout the south!

I feel your pain gents....but here in paradise i.e. land of beautiful beaches, palm trees and lovely tan women we don't have those cold issues. Oh Steve in Hawaii....how could you possibly have a cold issue on your island? Every time I've transited Hickam it was very tropical. Just cuddle up w that sweet young thing in your post.

Cheers
