NEXEN Tires

Does anyone have any experience with these bargain tires?

Never heard of them.

I just put a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's on my 92. Paid $308 each at Costco with installation/balancing plus Nitrogen filled.

Tires were worth every penny. Probably the best high performance summer street legal tires out there for daily drivers.

Cheap azzed Chinese made tires. Probably get some lead painted toyz with a 4 tire purchase. So if the tires don't blow out and kill you the lead will get you! Pick your Chinese poison.

Seriously, get something else, Goodyears, Nitto, Bridgestone, Michelin, Generals, Firestones just to name a few... If budget is a concern buy the Sumitomos or the Kumhos. AVOID THE NEXENS!!!!!!!

C'mon, let him have his fun -- even if it was a waste of money... BUT maybe it was included for free when he bought $308 tires. We've all played into marketing campaigns before and will again.

Actually they are made in South Korea, Kumho is a major competitor of Nexen. I would still look for a higher quality, more well known tire. I have seen some great prices and reviews on the Firestone Wide Ovals. The Firestones would have been my second choice behind the GoodYear F1 GS-D3's

I have put many sets on imports and a few on mustang and camaros.They have held up fine(no customer complaints).They will not perform as well as others when pushed to the edge but other than that they are fine.Tire technology has come a long way.
